Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following: Laminated wood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and cupped butt plate. The serial number 9965 can be seen on both barrel bands and on the inside of the barrel channel, no waffenamt proofs visible, the butt plate is plain, no Norwegian numbers. The blue metal finish is worn which may match your rifle better than one with lots of finish remaining. Dark hue to the wood finish, with typical dings and dents from service use, no dowel reinforcement.
