German WWII K98 Mauser Stock, Navy Issue, Cupped Buttplate, 6382

Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Hardwood stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. Matching serial numbers (6382)and waffenamt proofs (623), except for the bandspring and cupped buttplate which is not numbered but waffenamt proofed 497. The stock is clean, no repairs with fairly clear issue marks on the right butt face including the letter M for Marine, Norwegian renumbered butt plate. There is a very thin coating of poor quality varnish over what I beleive is the original finish. It almost seems to want to come off with your fingernail. Of course it won't where you want it too, shouldn't be to bad of a job to remove it. Nice stock otherwise.
