German WWII K98 Rifle Cupped Butt Plate, bpr 44

Original period manufacture. Stamped steel butt plate for the WWII German K98 rifle. Removed from a rifle surrendered by the Wehrmacht in Norway in May of 1945. Dark steel patina finish, clear markings, bpr 44.
