Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with its stock tab adjusting buckle, leather loop slide and small leather covering on the bottom of the buckle. The leather is pliable showing a strong checkered pattern on its surface with some scattered surface cracking from service use. The steel adjusting buckle is unmarked but has a Norwegian applied gloss black overpaint.
