German WWII K98 Rifle Sling, Complete, 1944 Dated

Original era manufacture. Pliable brown leather strap with a very clear cross hatch design on the surface of the sling. Dark steel adjusting buckle which is unmarked, small leather pad on the underside is present. It comes with its correct stock tab and small leather loop.On the underside of the strap, just below the adjusting body is a three letter code beginning with the letter J, and below that a 1944 date, both being inkstamped.  Normal age and wear, very nice sling.
