Original era manufacture. Standard issue brown leather K98 rifle sling, which is complete with the stock tab, small leather loop, and a steel adjusting buckle. The small leather pad under the adjusting buckle is also present, usually long gone from use.The sling leather is very pliable and has a nice even brown color, with a good bit of the X-pattern remaining on the top of the strap. The stock tab is marked with a very clear number 3, and the last letter of the makers code h. The other two letters, and the number 4 are not really visible.This is not a Norwegian capture, sling, rather from an old collection here in the USA.
