Original era manufacture. Standard issue brown leather K98 rifle sling, which is complete with the stock tab, small leather loop, and a steel adjusting buckle. The small leather pad under the adjusting buckle is also present, usually long gone from use.The sling leather is very pliable and has a nice even brown color, with a good bit of the X-pattern remaining on the top of the strap. The steel adjusting buckle is maker marked D&C, and the strap body is maker coded cgu just below the adjusting buckle stitching.
