Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with the stock tab and small leather loop. This is one of a number of WWII slings that we have received from our friend in Norway. The leather strap shows a checkered design on one side, rough-out leather on the other, it is very pliable and the stitching is sound. The steel adjusting buckle is marked L&F with a black painted finish. The stock tab has a pebble leather finish and matches the sling in color and condition, maker marked and dated 1939. There are areas of light surface cracking and wear as this sling was recently removed from a WWII K98 rifle. Sound original ready for your rifle.
