Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with the stock tab and small leather loop. This is one of a number of WWII slings that we have received from our friend in Norway. I have to say this is one of the nicest, if not THE nicest sling we have ever received from our Pal in the frozen North. Very nice original brown color with a very clear checkered pattern to the leather suface. Pliable, tie it in a knot, no dryness to the leather, just light age and wear. Clear L&F proof on the adjusting buckle with a matching color leather pad to the underside of same. This would look great on your pride and joy K98.
