German WWII K98 Rifle Sling, L&F Marked Buckle

Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with its stock tab, adjusting buckle and small leather loop slide. This is one of a number of WWII slings that we have just received from our friend in Norway. The leather strap shows a dark brown finish with a checkered pattern to the surface. The adjusting buckle is marked L&F and the little leather pad on the reverse of the adjusting buckle is intact but the stitching has opened up. The strap itself is quite pliable as you can see in our photos, with a few scrapes and gouges to its surface.
