Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with the stock tab and small leather loop. This is one of a number of WWII slings that we have received from our friend in Norway. The leather strap shows a checkered design on one side, rough-out leather on the other, it is very pliable and the stitching is sound. The steel adjusting buckle is marked D&C. The stock tab also has a smooth finish and matches the sling in color and condition. There are areas of light surface cracking and wear as this sling was recently removed from a WWII K98 rifle. Sound original ready for your rifle.
