German WWII K98 Rifle Sling

Original era manufacture. Standard leather K98 rifle sling which is complete with the stock tab and small leather adjusting loop. This is one of a number of WWII slings that we have received from our friend in Norway. The leather strap shows a faint checkered design on one side, is pliable and the stitching is sound. The steel adjusting buckle is not maker marked and shows remnants of a postwar black overpaint. The small leather buckle pad is present smf the stitching is sound. The stock tab also has a smooth finish but appears unmarked.
