Original era manufacture. A matching example 7099c, featuring a 39 dated bayonet by Elite Diamant. The blade retains about 80% of its satin blue finish and a sharp tip. Nice dark wood grips, mix of light surface corrosion and blue finish to the pommel, no deep pitting. The scabbard displays a few shallow dents in its surface, more felt than seen and a mix of surface corrosion, steel patina and blue finish. Again, no deep pitting. Decent original frog which looks as if it has been on the bayonet since 1945. Nice scarce maker..
