Original era manufacture. A standard WWII S84/98 bayonet which has been plated, with the following engraved on theblade; "June 1944 18th Field Artillery Group 1945", Normandy Coast, Saint Lo, Falaise Gap, Soissons, Mons, Aachen, Ardennes, Duren, Cologne, Rhine, Ruhr Pocket, Chemnitz". On the pommel is engraved, CPL. EARL ELLIOTT.The blade exhibits staining and grime, but should clean easily, typical age and wear tothe grips. No scabbard.
