German WWII Knights Cross, Four Place Stickpin

Original era manufacture. A very interesting stickpin featuring three Iron Cross awards with the first one being larger than the other two. All of them are the 1939 pattern with a swastika in the center. The two smaller EK's show a makers code of L/16 (Steinhauer & Luck) on the reverse, the large EK is blank. The fourth award is a Gold Wound Badge. The mounting pin has been deliberately bent so as to wear the awards in a vertical, rather than horizontal fashion. No doubt to the pleasure of the original wearer. A great looking and quite rare example displaying the awarding of the Knights Cross, EK1, EK2 and Gold Wound Badge.
