Original era manufacture. Wool bunting flag measuring 39 x 100 inches, made in two equal size panels, one yellow, one blue, denoting the letter K in the international code. When flown individually it  indicates a desire to communicate with another vessel.The flag is KM marked on the hoist, shows considerable wear and soiling from use, with scattered mothing. Still, an unusual Kriegsmarine issue signal flag.
