Original era manufacture. Local estate purchased set of KM 7x50 binoculars with its original presstoff carrying case. The binoculars are very clean, very clear optics and the rubber covers and protectors are generally in good condition. The only exception is the right eyepiece cover hinge has broken. I carefully lifted up the rubber frame covers to look for markings. Rather cryptic in their brevity, 7x50, a serial number and makers code beh. The binocular neckstrap is intact however the connecting tabs have been replaced with a set of old-fashioned men's cuff links, likely by the GI who brought the set home to use while hunting. The lid and and body of the original case are generally sound. Large Eagle M on the top of the lid with a 1944 date and beh code on the body. The lid hinge being made of inferior leather has dried and broken as have the two belt loops The small metal attachment at the end of the spring closure tab is missing. Portions of the shoulder straps remain.
