Original era manufacture. Large aluminum frame 7x50 binoculars made by Carl Zeiss with an eagle and letter M on the left side frame cover plate.The optics are clear but a little cloudy, they are in proper colimation, and the individually adjustable eyepieces work properly. There is not a range grid in the lenses.There is a large lever on the top of the binoculars which allows the viewer to select three different  filter settings. The internals work, sort of, but do need some adjusting to work properly. On the right side of the binoculars is a mounting point, perhaps for an external illumination source.These binoculars are a project of sorts but sound enough to be enjoyed as-is.
