Original era manufacture. A very clean example with a fair amount of gilding remaining on the metal fittings. The grip is free of cracks and the original knot is in the correct style "tie". The blade is bright and clean, showing the standard style of engraving, Eickhorn trademark on the reverse of the ricasso. These daggers are rather infamous for their dented lower scabbards, this one fared well in that regard, just the hint of a dent towards the tip. A very clean dagger.
