Original era manufacture. Zinc badge with a fair amount of the gilding remaining on the wreath and eagle. Horizontal pin and hook on the reverse with the makers LDO number in a small box near the bottom of the badge, L/53 (Hymenn & Co.,Ludenscheid). According to some sources this is a rare maker.
