Original era manufacture. A German navy marked flag which was brought home from WWII by Corporal Earl Elliott who served with the 18th Field Artillery in Europe.  Standard pattern RKF flag which is Kriegsmarine marked on the white canvas hoist, size 100 x 170, and made by Frolichs Sohn A.G. Warnsdorf. Rope halyard loops on each side of the hoist. The flag is a bit rumpled from storage, and is stained from age and wear, with a few small moth bites in the fabric. There is a larger tear, measuring 25 x 15 mm, below the Iron Cross on the lower central white stripe.
