Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; laminate wood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate.Mix of serial numbers on the stock, handguard, bayonet lug and butt plate (struck through, and renumbered). I did not remove the upper band to check the band spring number.Fairly clear markings on the stock face with the letter M below an eagle for Kriegsmarine issue. Three dowel reinforcements, good color throughout, normal age and wear.
