Original period manufacture. German WWII Kriegsmarine marked flag, size stamped on the hoist 200 x 335. Very clean, orange-red printed wool body, with a white canvas hoist, intact rope lanyard and clear makers name markings, including a Navy proof. The flag is very clean looking, no mothing that I could see, maybe a pinhole or two that I missed. No major staining, just a few very small ones scattered about. Multi-line, stitched reinforcement on the corners as is proper with this pattern it seems. Very bright and clean looking. We purchased this from the son of the GI who brought it home from WWII.
