Original era manufacture. Heavyalloy casing which is covered in a battleship gray paint finish. There is a steel front-rear site device on the top of the casing, and a steel dovetailmount on the base. Single optic, with a flip-down red rubber eye pad, which has stiffened with age, but remains remarkably intact. The optics are clear, with a crosshairinside. Above the eyepiece, is aswitch, which can be moved to either side, that operates a filter for bright sunlight. The casing is very well marked with a German eagle & swastika, M IV, and DZC2 4x15 bmk (Srb & Stys, Prague)130577.
