Original era manufacture. Heavy duty construction, with a metal lined lid and interior, marked airtight (Luftdicht). Original Navy gray paint finish, with original stenciling on its lid.The box measures 21 x 13 x 12 inches, with double steel latches on each side, and two large carrying handles. A great looking ammunition crate which makes an impressive display piece. HEAVY.
