Original era manufacture. An honest enough example which shows its age from handling and wear. The blade is quite clean, no pitting, sharp tip and a nice contrast to the etched panels. Mix of fire gilding and brass patina to the crossguard and eagle pommel, but still showing a nice sheen to the surfaces. There is a portion of the original knot in place with proper tie however the ball or acorn, has come loose. The grip retains its twisted wire binding and shows thin cracks in its surface, likely from over tightening of the pommel eagle which has resulted in the eagle being a bit loose. Gilded brass scabbard with both suspension rings, showing normal "taxi cab door" denting in several spots. Honest example showing its age and priced accordingly.
