German WWII Kriegsmarine Officers Tropical Tunic, Named

Original period manufacture. A very clean Kriegsmarine tropical tunic with loops for one badge and an officers pattern breast eagle. Four matt gray enlisted patternanchor buttons on the front (buttonholes for five, the topmost button is missing) with similar buttons on the pockets and shoulder straps. Red cotton embroidered name tag sewn to the inside of the tunic, H.Sager. Size about a 40. Slip-on shoulder straps for the rank of Fahnrich with black wool underlay, with career insignia for a communications engineer. A question was asked if the shoulder straps are original to the tunic. Difficult to answer with any certainty as the straps are removable and could have been placed there in 1941 or 1971. They do match one another in style and overall condition. It's always a question with easily replaced insignia. The tunic is in the configuration as we recieved it.
