Original period manufacture. Yellow & blue cotton embroidery, looks to have been removed from a pair of swimming trunks. Light age and wear. See page 413 in Volume 1, Die Kriegsmarine Uniforms & Traditions by Angolia & Schlicht for an illustration. We see a fair number of sportshirt eagles, this is the first one of these I can remember.
