Original period manufacture. This is an interesting tunic, frankly of a type I have not been able to find any information on. Tan, hbt weave linen based tunic, collarless with six gilt anchor buttons down the front. Two flapped and pleated breast pockets and two lower cargo pockets without flaps. Loops for shoulder straps with a gilt anchor button on each. Sewn to the lower left hem is an original issue tag, giving the size as 54 and declaring the pattern to be Offz.Jacketn. Near new condition, just light storage wear.
