Original era manufacture. An interesting lot ofdocuments awarding three levels of the War Service Cross and Medal to Pumpenmeister Hugo Klein during WWII. Herr Klein worked in the city which produced the Volkswagen, Stadt der KDF-Wagens, now known as Wolfsburg Germany.The lot includes the following, War Service Medal in May of 1942, War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords in August 1944, and War Service Cross 1st Class with Swords in November 1944.The documents are all sound, showing typical staining and wear from handling but no tears or holes.
