Original era manufacture. A laminate wood K98 stock which is complete with the following; laminate stock, matching hand guard, upper and lower barrel bands, band spring, bayonet lug, recoil bolt and flat butt plate.The serial number 8785, or 85, appears on both barrel bands, stock barrel channel, band spring, bayonet lug and hand guard, the butt plate has a different number, struck through with a Norwegian applied number, 15611.No dowel reinforcement in the bolt handle recess, faint eagle proofs and letter H proof on the stock face. Sound original stock displaying typical service wear and use, the last one to be listed, no more available once these remaining three are sold.
