Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; laminate stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. Mix of serial numbers throughout, no dowel reinforcement with a Norwegian renumbered butt plate as usual. The stock is very clean, would say original finish to the wood. There is a series of white stenciled numbers on the stock face which may indicated Kriegsmarine issue as many of our stocks with similar markings had Navy proofs.
