Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; laminate stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat butt plate. All matching, including the band spring and all other components displaying a serial number show 5103. Interestingly there is a mix of waffenamt codes, 135, 655 are visible. The buttplate is not numbered but is coded bpr.The stock displays normal age and wear with a good color and no cracks or chips in the wood. Renumbered buttplate as is the norm with these Norwegian stocks, 5727.
