Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; laminate stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. The serial number 160 appears on the upper barrel band, handguard and stock channel. Fairly clear waffenamt proofs on the butt face in addition to a lightly stenciled Norwegian property number. Decent blue finish on the metal fittings with some light scattered surface corrosion. No dowel reinforcements to the wood, light varnished finish, renumbered butt plate.
