Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following;laminated stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and cupped butt plate.Matching numbers throughout 487, including the band spring, waffenamt code of 280 everywhere except the cupped butt plate which ismarked brg 41 with a code of 497.Faint eagle proofs on the stock face, renumbered butt plate as is the norm for these stocks.No dowel reinforcement in the bolt handle recess, nice golden brown color to the wood.
