Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following;laminate stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flatbutt plate.Nearmatching, 9689 except for the band spring which has a differentnumber.Where marked, the waffenamt code of 26 is visible, the butt plate has a Norwegian applied serial number, with the original number being struck through.The stock displays normal age and wear, with a period crack repair in the wrist consisting of 7 dowels which have been placed into the wood. Nice golden brown color to the wood.
