Original era manufacture. A laminate wood K98 stock which is complete with the following; laminate stock, matching hand guard, upper and lower barrel bands, band spring, bayonet lug, recoil bolt and cupped butt plate.The serial number 5551 appears on both barrel bands, stock barrel channel and hand guard, the remaining components display different serial numbers. The butt plate has a Norwegian applied serial number and a German maker code of bpr.No dowel reinforcement, in the bolt handle recess, original finish to the wood surface, scattered light surface corrosion on the metal fittings.
