Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; laminate wood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and cupped buttplate. The serial number 5653 appears on all components including the band spirng, waffenamt code of WaA655. Stenciled number on the stock face with the letter M below an eagle for Kriegsmarine issue. No dowel reinforcement, Norwegian renumbered buttplate. Very clean stock overall.
