German WWII Laminated K98 Mauser Stock, Cupped Butt Plate, 9813

Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following: laminated wood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and cupped buttplate. The stock is very clean, no dowel reinforcement, and the wood finish appears to be original. Serial number 9813, or 13, appears on the bayonet lug, both barrel bands, stock channel, and handguard. The buttplate is not numbered, not even by the Norwegians. The only waffenamt proof I can see is 77 and that is on the bayonet lug. the only flaw to mention beyond normal age and wear, is that a previous owner lightly sanded a portion of the stock body on the right side, you can see this in our photos. This is just light surface finish removal, nothing chemical, or abusive with a power sander.
