German WWII Laminated K98 Mauser Stock, Cupped Buttplate

Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Laminated wood stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and cupped buttplate. All components display an identical serial number 989 except for the upper handguard. No repairs visible to the wood, the buttplate was renumbered by Norway. Nice color and finish to the wood with traces of an eagle on the right butt face. The stock does have a serious flaw in the form of a hairline crack on the top of the wrist. The stock remains very presentable for display but is not receommended for a rifle you intend to shoot unless repaired.
