Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following: laminated wood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. Mix of serial numbers and waffenamt proofs. There are five dowel reinforcements in the stock, four on the underside of the wrist, and one on the side. Upon close inspection, I noted a thin crack on both sides of the wrist, no doubt the cause of the dowel reinforcing. Faint eagle proofs on the right side of the stock face.
