Original era manufacture. A clean set of 10x80 observation binoculars made by the firm of Josef Schneider, Kreuznach, dkl code.Heavy steel body with an ordnance tan paint finish, removable sunshields, and rubber eye shield. The optics are fairly clear, just a slight bit murky, with a range grid in one lens. The lenses are not in proper collimation so when looking through the eyepieces the image is doubled a bit.There is a steel dovetail mount on the bottom for attaching the binoculars to a tripod, and another on the top for a removable aiming post. Neither of those items are included in the price.
