Original period manufacture. A large format album measuring 16 x 11 x 1.5 inches, containing 330 BW and postcard photos, 99 color cigarette cards from the Unser Marine series, and 14 pictorial ship stamps of Imperial German warships.The man began service aboard the SMS Nymphe, a Gazelle class light cruiser, commissioned in 1900, seeing service during WWI and postwar with the Reichsmarine. She was stricken from the Navy list in 1931 and scrapped in 1932. The content includes time during WWI and into the 1920's when the Nymphe visited a number of foreign ports. During WWII it appears that he served on Kriegsmarine Minesweepers as a good deal of he content concerns the WWII era.Excellent content throughout.
