Original era manufacture. Complete latewar example with original liner and chinstrap but missing the right front rivet for some reason. Dark ordnance gray combat finish paint which shows scattered blobs of white garage paint. The pigskin liner is a bit dry but still flexible and none of the suspension fingers have been pulled through. The original chinstrap is full length, pliable with a few scattered nicks to the edges. Unmolested original late war era steel helmet.
