German WWII Leather Mapcase, 1937 Dated

Original era manufacture. Brown pebble grain leather mapcase with a matching maker & date, leather edged map protector insert. In several collector reference books this is referred to as the M1935 mapcase with a modified closure strap. Written on the inside of the flap below the makers name, are the names of three cities, Wien, Paris and Wiesbaden preceded by a series of numbers with an L prefix. Maybe this indicates Luftwaffe issue, not sure, just a guess. Quite sound, normal age and wear.
