Original period manufacture. Leni Riefenstahl, 1902-2003, needs no introduction for students of WWII history. She began her career as an actress in the 1920's, but found her niche in history as the director of the 1934 documentary film "Triumph des Willens" (Triumph of the Will), based on the 1934 Reichsparteitag festivities in Nurnberg. Black and white photo postcard size image of Frau Riefenstahl, plain reverse, with a individual dedication and year date of 2000 on the bottom margin. Original to the period, UFA advertising brochure by the NSDAP, offering a viewing of the film at Lichtspielhaus Simbach Germany. She evidently signed many similar images after the end of WWII, right up to the end of her very long life. Most of those are a simple signature, this is a bit more "wordy", but difficult for me to read.
