Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 1st model dagger with nickel fittings and a very clean blade by SMF. The blade measures 12 inches in length, with a near flawless finish, with a clear SMF logo on the ricasso, with a Luftwaffe proof below. Nickel guard and pommel with a good amount of the brass finish remaining on the swastikas. Original leather wrapped grip with twisted wire binding, the leather grip covering is very sound, just a few very minor nicks in the surface, no gouges or splits. Matching finish nickel mounted scabbard with a full length suspension chain, no issues with the leather covering. Very clean aluminum know with some very minor fraying to the silvered cord. Overall a very nice example of it's type.
