Original era manufacture. A very clean example featuring nickel silvered fittings and a very nice blade displaying a Luftwaffe property mark. The blade is in original polish, bright and clean with a clear Weyersberg logo and property number 494. The blue grip leather shows some light surface scuffing just above the ferrule, tight wire binding intact. The metal fittings show a pleasing dark silver patina with all fitting screws present. A matching property number 494 is stamped into the lip of the scabbard throat. The scabbard leather is basically sound with an old repair to the leather along its length. Its difficult to see and blends well but it is a repair. Overall a nice looking original dagger.
