Original era manufacture. Wartime production example with dark gray fittings and a cream colored grip with intact wire binding. The blade shows lots of original polish, is unsharpened and the point remains sharp. When we purchased this dagger the blade was covered in old cosmoline. We gave it a pretty good bath but a bit of that sticky stuff remains on both sides. Once cleaned away the blade will be near mint.
