Original era manufacture. Pebbled aluminum enlisted pattern buckle which bears the makers marks of FR (Franz Reischauer-Oberstein)and the date of 38 forward of the catch. A original sewn leather tab is attached to the prong bar bearing the full name inscription. The stitching is sound across the prong bar but is missing from the sides and bottom. Nice original buckle showing matching maker & date, tab to buckle.
